I got my mastercard statement in the mail on 3-7-05. I noticed a charge of $9.95 on the bill from my perfect credit. I wondered what this was for and saw a phone number next to the name on the bill. I tried calling the number the next day to no avail.
The phone rang busy all day long as i tried to call the number every 15 minutes. This agrivated me as a company does not have phones that ring busy over a 10 hour period of time.
I did call GM Mastercard to make a complaint of the charge that i did not authorize and asked them to take it off my bill and to investigate the matter as i wondered how this company got hold of my credit card number. I was asked by them if my credit card had been lost or stolen and if i had my credit card in my posession. I told them it was right in my hand as we were speaking. They were sending me forms to fill out and fax back to them A.S.A.P. So they could begin their investigation.
The people and businesses in this country make me sick to think they can try to pull a scam like this type and other types on hard working, honest people just for a few bucks and a hope to get rich quick and not get caught. Why don't they get an honorable job like the rest of us and make do just like we have and be happy with what they have and work hard to get things they have dreams of achieving.
