I am a 63 yr. Old woman who has been victimized by this company whose employee wrote on Glassdoor website quote.
"Equity Lifestyle cares nothing except occupany numbers, with unfair treatment to residents. Poor customer relations, once residents move in they're ignored. Management purposely avoids residents & corporate doesn't respond to complaints."
I was wrongly moved into The Meadows, PBG., Fl in 4/10. As a tentant. My friend bought the house & never signed any legal papers with the property regarding rules & regulations. Or ownership. Now it is 6 months later, the house has been completely remodeled & we have been told we have to vacate because of the paper work which the office manager never did. She blatently told me in her office 2 weeks ago that for 4 months in her life she could not give a good st what hapned to this place. She told me herslf she did not want anybody in her office & told her office boy to through everybody out. Unfournately, I was in that 4 month period & now my life is being ruined by this company. There is much more to this story. There have also been 140 families evicted.
When I tried to get through to corporate, I was told that they were never going to evict me after my family almost found me dead, but now that I called corporate they are going to evict me.
I would like to know the truth, if they are lying that corporate does not want to know or if coporate is being by passed to protect themselves.
Please I need someone to contact this company. I have put the last of my life savings into remodeling this home & don't have the money to move, so I will be living on the street.
Can someone please let me know what to do.
