Greetings from MATRADE Bangkok, Thailand.
We have received a complaint from a Thai woman named Miss Satanaporn Ruangsakulrach. She got a job offer to work for Petronas Oil Company Malaysia. According to Dr. Murshid Ahmed Mohamed who claimed himself as the HR Manager of the company, she must send her supporting documents for the job as well as employment expenses amounted USD950 to Rozlan Khuen Advocates & Solicitors which was the company's Immigration Attorney. The amount USD950 (Thai Baht 30,699.17 / RM3,039.08) was transferred to Mr. Derek Greg Moore (secretary to the Immigration Attorney General) via Western Union on 218 July. Then, the Immigration Attorney asked her for another fee payment around USD1,600. She fortunately have yet not transferred the money to it, but came to our office for consultant instead. After checking her employment documents provided by the company, we thought this is a scam case using name of Petronas to lure victims.
It will be grateful if the Royal Malaysia Police would assist to scrutinise in Miss Satanaporn's case. We also herewith attach complaint and relevant documents for your kind investigation.
