It appear that paypal care more about people they’re sending money to and they know they are frauds than the ones that paid for their services. Unlike Western Union they didn’t even try to help me get my money back. This is my last helpless effort through this channel, hoping someone find a heart in the mist of this B.S. And hear me out!!! I told paypal I never received what I paid for - I fell for a gimmick but I caught it in time but paypal have done nothing to help me get my money back as if they are part of the scheme. I'm asking again since paypal said I had 45 days to file a complaint. At least Western Union called the overseas number (00 (44) 755-022-7803) and verified the company was a fraud, and returned my money, Paypal was put to shame by not even trying to give me my money back? This is how we treat our veterans in this country? I can verify everything I’ve said. The only mistake I made was believing I won some money, why should that cost me $1400.00 dollars paypal didn’t even make a call on their so called investigation to look into case #PP-002-384-344-851 that I was told was closed. It's sad but I received a letter claiming I had won L500,000 GPB it seem so real so I did everything they requested of me. When it was time to have the money delivered, I was introduced to a courier that required L955.00GBP. I couldn't wait to send my money. I went online to PayPal and attempted to send the money but for some reason it wouldn't send. 15 May about 11:00pm I initiated an echeck but I thought it was too slow 3-5 working days wouldn't work for me. About 9:00am I went to WalMart to send a money gram but to my surprise PayPal had already gotten the money out of my checking account for the echeck. I went to my car and called PayPal from my cell phone (478-397-3392) and requested that the echeck be cancelled so I could get the money back in my account and send it to the courier now. When I cancelled the echeck, then the customer service person told me that it would 2-3 business days for the money to return to my account, I was not happy. So I borrowed the money from a friend and went to the BX on Robins AFB (I'm a Vet) and sent almost all the money by Western Union (W.U.) but when I did the conversion I was a few dollars short, so I sent another W.U. Immediately. That alerted the W.U. Fraud division. I was called on my cell phone and told it was a scam and W.U. Returned my money to the BX. Thinking what a fool I am, now waiting for money from the echeck that I cancelled to be refunded back to my account. Please don't let those crooks keep my hard earned money. I'm sure there must be a record of conversation or someone to verify that what I'm saying is truth so help me God. It was said that I cancelled the transaction at the Credit Union-That's a lie, because the money was already out of my account and PayPal had it and was going to give it back to me. And that was good enough for me. Paypal don't deserve capital letters. My account history will verify that paypal got the money from my account and to this day haven't put it back into my account.
