The complaints listed here are bang on. I have a lot of experience buying dirt bikes and quads and nearly made a huge mistake yesterday when looking for an atv for my child. The price, graphics and freebies thrown in seem to make these Tao Tao machines a good deal but but don't be fooled. The product is suspect at best and most web sites report a lot of issues with them.
However the real disaster are the people that run this place - they are rude and incompetent. They could not start the quad I wanted to purchase nor another one that was on the lot. At first they refused to start the one I wanted to purchased and said it was ready to go and just take it home. However I insisted they start it and after several excuses (bad gas, dead battery, too much choke, etc...) it would still not start. It was all too much and I realized both the product and the staff were not worth my money.
After reading all of these other comments after my visit I feel very fortunate I did not make that purchase.
