I had ordered a collection of Italian cookbooks from a door-to-door salesman who went by the name Shawn McCrae, and was told the first eight (out of sixteen) volumes would be sent out in six to eight weeks. It will almost be three months in June. There is no way to contact these people; all I get when calling the number is a recording saying not to leave a message, that this number is not for that purpose. I hate when someone pulls one over on me, and am beyond perturbed. Out of the goodness of my heart, I thought I was helping this Shawn McCrae collect points for himself to win some contest he told me about. All I have to say is that these scammers will all meet their Maker one day and have to answer for this! What they have done for me now is thrown a bad apple into a barrel full of good ones, and I will NEVER buy anything from a door-to-door salesperson again. I live in Texas, and whomever attempts to contact me by walking up to my front porch will hear my shotgun being calked back before they hear my voice, for here in this great state anyone that seems suspicious and is on one's property gives way for a bullet or two coming right at them. I want my $48.00 back!!!
