On 5/9 I received an unsolicited letter along with a check for $998.00. The letter stated that I was to be a Mystery Shopper. I was interested so, I deposited the check and waited for it to clear. It cleared on 5/13. I was instructed to withdraw $875.00 and go to Walmart and purchase a MoneyPak for $870.00, the remaining $5.00 was to be used for the fee that is charged. Once I got the MoneyPak I called the number and gave the card number along with the last four digits off of my receipt from Walmart. I was then informed to call back in about 3-4hrs. To find out where I was to go next. No answer then nor for the next 2 days. I called my bank today 5/15 and they informed me that I had been scammed.
