I applied for and received the Assurance Wireless FREE phone supposed to come with 250 FREE minutes & 250 FREE texts. No free time on phone. Keeps telling me to buy minutes. I have email them every day asking them how to activate it. Keep getting the same emails back saying I did not give them enough info about the phone and my account. I keep sending them ALL the info that was in the accompaning letter. They also tell me to call the 800 number. How do they expect me to call without a working phone? Also, check info on the phone numbers and average wait time is min 20 minutes and the call goes to customer service in INDIA where they do NOT understand ENGLISH. Ya know, the U.S. Government pays them to provide free cell phones. Customer service should be here in the USA.
