I posted an item for sale on Craigslist and this man has been sending me text messages and very pushy about making arrangements with his shipper and sending the additional money sent to the shipper so they can make arrangements to pick up the camper shell. The cost of the camper shell is $450.00 and he sent me $2,150.00 I have not deposited the check and not sent any money back. I did try to call the bank the check was written on, but they would not verify anything. They said my bank could verify on their end. I went to the bank this morning and they called as I was there, but again they would not verify if the account or funds. If banks would only verify this information, then the situation would be cleared. I sent the bank an email and also the company that the check is written on, but nothing as of yet. This is very frustrating. I hope this helps others making the right decision.
