Same as several I have read on ScamBook already. Received a check for $3990.00 in the mail. The "return address" on envelope said Walmart, so I thought it was a coupon or something from the auto department where I get my oil changes. Imagine my suprise when I saw a real check drawn on PNC Bank. The enclosed letter tries to look very official and is written in such a way that most people would just be confused by it and say "What ever, I don't understand all this, but I'm cashing this check!" They figure people who or suspicious will Google the company on the check, and when they do, they will find it to be a legit company. BUT, as soon as you Google HARMONY SECURITIES... From the letter, you will find it is all a SCAM. It is so sad, that in these harsh economical times, that these scum bags will prey on people trying to "make it", feed their families and just survive! I surely hope they can be caught, although I doubt it. Like your parents warned you... If it seems too good to be true, it probably IS.
