I received a phone call from a man calling himself "Kevin Jenkins" claiming to be from the Nevada Gaming Commission in Las Vegas instructing me to contact another gentleman about "the situation I was in". He made it sound like I was in trouble. He further instructed me to call him back afterwards { (876) 372-0293}. So I contacted the other person he told me to call, a "Phillip Matthews" { (509) 671-9945} (allegedly) with the Department of Justice / Homeland Security - Better Business Bureau (sounded fishy to me). I called and "Mr Matthews" was out but would return my call. To make it even stranger, the person would first answered the phone only asked for my name, not my number. "Mr. Matthews" called me a few minutes later about "a package" and then started talking about this "multi-million dollar international sweepstakes" that I had won. I told him I wasn't interested and hung up. I had done a reverse lookup on both numbers before "Mr. Matthews" returned my call. "Mr. Matthews" number is located in Newport, WA while "Mr. Jenkins" number is located out of Jamaica. I have contact the Attorney General of Washington State about this as well. I don't know what, if anything, to expect out of this, but just wanted to say be aware and be vigilant.
