I have a very negative experience shopping at Kohl%u2019s Store. One time I was with a friend shopping at Kohl%u2019s and I opened an account with them while they were promoting their convincing deals. The same day, I decided to pay with my personal credit card since Kohl%u2019s credit card would come via mail so its better I cleared my charges here since I only would purchased one pair of pants that worth $19.10. However, I was never imagined that having this new account could be a nightmare of my life. This particular Kohl%u2019s Store located at Fair Lakes, VA 22033 made false charges on my Kohl account. I didn%u2019t realize the false charges until two months later I constantly received phone calls from Kohl store. The recordings keeped saying %u201CCall Kohl%u2019s Department Store.%u201D %u201CCall Kohls Department Store.%u201D At First, I thought it was a sale call and then I called back once, they told me that I have owed more than $170 charges for my purchased on the day I opened the account. My God! This is out of the blue. I quickly went to the store at Fair Lakes tried to get help from them. My first visit, the worker at the customer service would not even call the Store Manager for me and said to me that there was nothing to be done at their store. I had to just make calls to billing department. So, I went home and made few calls to the billing department. They told me a list of the items I didn%u2019t purchase and said that I purchased those items. I told them %u201Cno.%u201D However, they said that I had to go to the store to talk with them since the signature was on the receipt where I purchased.
The Billing Department keeps calling me and asking me to pay the bills twice or three times a day. These calls make me crazy and upset. I decide to make my second trip to the Fair Lakes Store.
Luckily, I have found my original receipt with this $19.10 charges on it. So, I take my proof to the Fair Lake Store.
I went to the Store at Fair Lakes the second trip with the pair of pants that I bought and my original receipt. This time I insisted that I spoke to the Kohl Store Manager. Here this manager name %u201C Cas Dec%u201D who I thought could be someone helpful. Out of my expectation, he didn%u2019t even apologize to a lowly customer like me the whole time. He made phone calls and said the same thing of my charge. I showed him the receipt, I told him to take care of this situation right away or I would not leave the store. He had pulled out those false charges and saw the signature didn%u2019t match mine. What he did was, to make returns to those charges. That was the only thing he could do for me according to this Manager. He said he has taken care of the situation. Right after I left the store, the Kohl%u2019s Billing company keeps calling me and asking about the same charges. This really gets me mad. How stupid is this? I didn%u2019t even make these purchases, why the manager solved problems by making returns from me. I still need help. What he did didn%u2019t solve my problem. Who can help me in this bad situation? I still receive Kohl%u2019s phone calls everyday three or four times a day. I don%u2019t know why I have to put up with all these when this mistake has been made by Kohls store Cashier. I do not get any apology or further service from the store. I will tell more people about this unpleasant and humiliating experience.
