I received a call saying it was necessary that I follow through the instru ctions given me, so I could claim a $100 gas card and a 10 dollar gift certificatee to Walmart. I was told I could cancel the membersip immediately if I did not lke what I say, well I didn't and cancelled the request. I had to use my debit card for the cost of $2.99 plus $. 01 for the trial membership. Well on the above date after I canceled I called my bank and found that someone had tried to charge $701.00, some other charges for phones and or equipment, which my bank blocked, but low and behold they let $590.01 for a USA flight to somewhere, which overdrew my account and caused $120 in overdraft fees. Waka is the only place I had given this number to, as I thought it was secure, based on the phone call and being "walked through" the process. I do not purchase anything on the net work and do not give out my card or ID,
Needkess ti say I have not had a wonderful holiday based on the above fraud and hacking my account. I'm not sure how long it will take to get this resolved, but I do know I am a retired senior citizen and cannot support people the way the Obama presidency. I can barely take care of myself. Something needs to be done about these unscrupulous people and the internet hacks. We oldies will starve to death or freeze to death in our cold homes, we cannot heat.
