Overbilling, unproven accessorials, and long transit times

Our shipping manager was contacted on several occasions by Bluegrace Logistics representatives claiming that they could save us money, save us money, save us money... As a company that spends several hundred thousand a year on freight we had our doubts. We have FAK's and high discounts anyway. After many incoming calls from Bluegrace we gave them a shot on some business. Several of the shipments went fine. However, we let it be known up front that we needed the pricing based on government or school deliveries, no add on's after the fact. They agreed, we made it SO VERY CLEAR. I think they wanted the business so badly, they would say what we wanted to hear. Biggest problem beside the overbillings, after we've already billed our customers, is the transit times. We had on 3 occasions, within a week or two, where it took 14 days for our shipments to arrive. At this point customer service would not answer our calls... One on occassion we actually had to have another carrier come and rescue our shipment to get it to our customer. This shipment was normally a 2-3 day transit time. Bluegrace will blame it all on the carriers. Guess what Bluegrace, you picked the carriers. You have the relationships, we are your customers. Not the other way around. We should have read more online about your company, prior to us doing business. That's why I'm here, to let all other companies know how shady your business practices are. I would not recommend Blue Grace Logistics to anyone!
