Oct 18, I gave area sales manager Michael Rossiter $730. As a down payment for an office which I was lead to believe was to include certain amenities. I did NOT receive any paperwork (my cashier's check is the only receipt I have) nor a copy of the sheet I signed, which seemed to be a one-page "hold".
Oct 20, a "welcome email" was received with amenities revealed at additional a la carte charges, such as in-house phone at the rate of an ADDITIONAL $199./month. None of what I requested/required to be included was included. I sent them an email Oct 20 to notify them they were deceptive in their practices and would not be accepting keys to the location and that it would be good business practice to return my down payment. They did not address that. I followed up with an email Oct 22.
I never received a copy of anything with legal terms of a contract, but did receive emailed bills for charges before November 1st, which was to be the start of the lease.
They threatened to send my info to collections, which I responded to by forwarding my email that stated I refused to accept the office based on their deception and they immediately replied with an emailed attachment they asked me to sign and they'd forget about the whole thing.
