January 27th, 2025, I shipped off my Omega Seamaster 300 to Jeff Herman of Watchrepair.net for repair in a security box provided by him for a cost of $69. I was quoted $399. On the 29th of January he texted to say he had received my watch and that he would contact me in a few days. He did call and said the repair would cost $800, to which I agreed - he took the money from my credit card.
Feb 11th I asked for an update on my watch, to which he replied that his watchmaker was working on it and he would keep me posted, as it was currently in progress. April 11th I texted him again asking for an update, and I did not receive a reply.
I do believe he has stolen my watch and $869. Not only do I want my watch and money returned, I'm not actually bothered if he has fixed it, but my guess is he has already sold it on. Do not send your watches to this company.
