My Nokia C7 speaker on the inside of the phone stopped working and the lock button broke off within 6 months of being bought. Nokia Care had the nerve to tell me that due to me having long nails, the lock button broke off hence I would have to cover the costs and refused to allow the warantee to cover it. Does Nokia not make user friendly products or do they just make products for men?! Because clearly anyone with long nails would not be able to use their products and further more, what proof do they have that I had long nails when the button broke off? To make matters worse, it took over two months for my phone to be repaired and in that time, not once did I get a response to my emails or text messages to find out the status quo of my phone, which is actually another service offered by Nokia Care when your phone is in for repairs. I thereafter laid a complaint and their had office in East Africa were not helpful at all! All they did was reiterate to me what Nokia care (durban) had told me and apologise for my inconvnience of not having a phone for over two months. I am extremely angered! Why should I have to fork out even more money to repair a brand new phone. It just goes to show Nokia's poor quality in their products and their useless services! Never again will i EVER purchase another Nokia product! It's no wonder why they have lost their market share and have now lost another customer! Blackberry is definitely the way to go.
