Another eBay Ripoff - Fraud, Policies (ONLY for some people)

We have been members of the ebay community for awhile now, buying and selling. Recently (06/20/04) we started having problems with items disappearing that were paid and then would show up not paid, items that we didn't even bid on (just put in our watch list) would show up that we bid and won, getting all kinds of emails from ebay (not ebay), bidders emails saying that they were upset that we outbid then on items, virus showing up from ebay members, etc.

Started reporting these things to ebay, then all of a sudden we are suspended, and don't even know why. Come to find out we had bid on some items that we won and didn't pay for them (some of the items we did bid on and we paid them, some items we didn't even bid on - had no reason to bid on them, but the kicker is that by the time we were notified that we had an unpaid item strike against us, their had already been several filed and we were not notified to be able to use the unpaid item dispute resolution, so the strike was put against us with out being able to use the dispute to solve the problem before the strike is put on you (ebay policy).

We had emailed alot of sellers that we had dealt with in the past and the sellers on some of these items to let them know what was going on with our accounts so we could get it straightened out before it led to us getting suspended, didn't do any good. Now we are in the process of having to appeal most the these unpaid items that we have been given strikes, but were not able to use the unpaid dispute resolution on.

Alot of the emails that have been send to us ebays states they aren't from them (including our suspended notice), but yet we are still suspended.

Ebay also states that they will look at your past record history before you are suspended (policy), we have had no problems in the past until all of these things started happening with our ebay/paypal accounts.

When you log onto your account you are suppose to get a popup notice of your unpaid items notice, never happened.
I got an email from ebay stating that I had some unknown activity on our account and they needed to veryify our username and password - to log in - I did this because we were having problems and reporting them to ebay - low and behold that just made matters worse. Ebay says the email isn't from them, but they cannot find out how our account was compromised - I definately know how - how hard is that to figure out. If I keep reporting these emails to them and letting them know that we were having problems and still are then how can they dismiss the fact that our account wasn't compromised. Hackers make it look like everything is ok when it's not.

I'm suppose to be able to log into my account and be able to still use alot of functions (my ebay, toolbar to find unpaid item dispute console, community boards, get information on the sellers to communicate with them, use the dispute resolution, respond to ebay members, etc.), I cannot log into our account and do anything, but email ebay. 90% of the emails that I email ebay they aren't reading the comments that are being written by me, ebay doesn't respond to what you write, they respond to the subject, not the problem. I don't think that I have ever really gotten back an email that has been answered from a person and not an automated email. Some of my emails aren't even going to ebay through the site, they never received them, or cannot send (messges from my internet service provider).

The new unpaid item dispute resolution process just went into to effect on 12 Jul 04, I was suspended 13 Jul 04 and didn't even know it until all of my auctions were taken off of ebay. This new system for this wasn't even tested they just implemented it. I keep reporting problems to them, but they act like it is just me. If you read the message boards, I'm not the only one.
That's how I found out that I should be able to log into the message boards to get help. Other people that are suspended are able to log into the message boards an send other people message, etc., but I cannot. I can't even get ebay live to work for me. I have already changed my ebay account 3 times (passwords) because ebay keeps telling me to change my password, then I cannot log onto my account.

I even have some sellers that say they will FVF as long as I leave positive feedback. Ok so I agree and then the seller has to go back into ebay and close the strike, now the seller refused to close to strike because I haven't left feedback for them, I cannot leave feedback until the strike is removed, but ebay says they cannot find anything wrong with that. That is pure and simple BLACKMAIL!!! Just so they can get there free listing and leave me sitting here suspended, the items that I bid on I paid, but the items that I didn't bid on I didn't even know I had won, so we agreeded not to complete the transactions, but now ebay refuses to do anything about it.

Here is alot more to this matter that I figure will never be answered from ebay or straightened out by them. I'm just suspended and their policies don't matter.
This is my business and now I just have to sit and wait it out, what happened to we will look at your account and determine before suspending your account. This system is fowled up and it's my fault. You don't implement something with out testing it first. The seller can automatically get their free listing this way. I'm going thru all of this because I know that I'm right and I hate to be accused of something that I know I didn't do. If I did it I will admit it, but I will not admit to something that I knowlingly didn't do.
