Charles J. Schuck III, owner of PC Gecko, also d/b/a St. Paul PC Repair, Minneapolis Computer Repair, and Wise Guyz IT, has a long history of defrauding consumers and stealing computer equipment and gaming consoles. PC Gecko (which should be called "PC Chameleon, " due to its penchant for constantly hiding from law enforcement), is well-known for fraudulent theft activity in the Twin Cities area.
Here's how the PC Gecko scam works:
Unwitting customers bring in their computer gear to PC Gecko for servicing, and are required to pay up-front. Charles Schuck III then dodges calls and emails, and hides from the customers. When Schuck has bilked a sufficient number of victims and amassed a nice little pile of stolen money, he closes his shop in the dark of night and moves to a new location, taking the cash and computer equipment in the process. Charles Schuck III then fences the stolen computer gear and other electronics, thereby stealing from the customer twice.
