Just tonight I was surfing and a popup came up that had a lot of French writing and SMS XXX on it. I tried Alt-F4 about 20 times to no avail. The popup stayed on top even when I opened several other windows. Right clicking then close did not work.
I suspected another Alyon ripoff as this was just like it happened a year ago. I didn't click Yes or No on the popup. I brought up task manager and ended it, Task Manager labeled this INFORMATION. I disconnected and then re-connected only to find a different username (ConnInts2) and password populated in another dialup connection box. It looks like they added another dialup session and renamed mine OLD.
Then my computer modem, all by itself— I AM NOT KIDDING, started dialing the long string of numbers 1010288 0116773108307. The 1010288 is a carrier code and the rest looks like an international number. This was all created without my consent and without my even knowing it. I looked at my computer desktop and there was an icon with a lady's face that said "Dating" and two more icons, one said "SMS" and the other said "XXX". I removed all of them. I wonder if Alyon is getting braver now that they think they're winning in the courts?
