Warning! Horizon direct LLC is a scam from the start. It is clear they mean to commit fraud. I signed up in Dec. 2010.By January they had developed my web site. The web site provided for the intial fees had very few products listed, if you wanted more, you had to pay them more money. My first Web site was no performing well. Many of the pictures on that site were disproporationate and over ran other parts of the page. After many repeated attempts, I could never get them to correct those pages.
I also made the mistake of ordering a product and payed for it, as a present for my son. This was never delivered, they claimed it was out of stock. I re ordered another model and paid more money. T6his too was never delivered. When I spoke to Samantha at Horizon, she claimed that the first one was backordered and they couldn't deliver the second one until that backorder was cleared.
It was now that it became clear that these people do not know what they are doing! I started asking for a refund. Three calls later, several e-mails and one posted letter, I finally was able to talk, with a supposedly, manager. I explained my situation and that I wanted a refund of the product I oredered. He said not to worry it wouold be looked after, and that i need to talk with someone else. I talked with that someone and we went over the refund and again I received assurance, we went over the issues I had with the web site, and he said he would fix them. He also said he would send me reports on the advertizsing campaign so I can be kept up to date with their efforts that I paid for. He then said I neded to talk with yet a third person. This person stated that I needed to pay another $900. For a new marketing effort because they found out that the old one they sold me didn't work!!!
What am I, an idiot? No way.;.. I told him t5hat t6hey needed to refund me my purchase AND fix my web site AND put me on the new program for no charge for the hassle I have gone through. He hung up!
To date... No refund, no further convrsation, no reports, no nothing. I had my credit card company cancel all charges that I paid, which I should have done at the beginning. Then I get an irate phone message from somneone new at Horizon, and din't leave a phone number that I could call back to discuss, as he completly ignored qll my issues and my reasons for cancelling my credit card charges. Talk about conflect avoidant!
It was obvious he din not want to here my side of the story.
Do Not get involved with this company! Ever!
