I placed an ad on petfinder.com advertising my kitty. A few days later I received an email from Emily Barlage inquiring about my pet. A day or so after that I received another email stating that her husband was willing to pay any price for the kitty plus shipping because he wanted it for his daughters 10th birthday. I was to provide my name address and phone number so they could send me a check. Emily stated that she is deaf and would have to communicate via email.
Emily's husband is supposedly Robert Barlage and they have been married 12 years and have two daughters and they live in Lincoln Nebraska.
I decided to google Emily Barlage and some how came across this website and saw a report of the same thing happening to another person almost identical to what happened to me.
I could not understand why someone would be willing to pay any amount for a kitty when there are so many kitties roaming around and I am sure there are kitties in Lincoln Nebraska.
