DON'T conduct business with HobbyTron!
They don't give refunds. They don't repare products. If your item is defective or broken in delivery, tough-luck — you're from the money.
Listed Here Is my encounter with this particular organization...
1) I bought a handheld remote control vehicle from HobbyTron on 11/27. It was my boyis Holiday present and so I requested it nicely ahead of time just in case any problems came up.
2) I obtained the vehicle on 12/6 and followed the directions and charged the battery overnight. I blocked it in with no reaction what-so ever.
3) I named HobbyTron on 12/7 (waited 20 minutes to get a individual to reply). I inquired when they might cost my charge card for a different one, I would like to deliver this back, after which they might credit my charge card once they obtained the low-operating vehicle. They stated they might not do this. THEY DON'T offer discounts. They explained I'd need to complete a RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) on the site and that I would need to deliver it back again to them to possess it set and delivered. They stated there is no means I'd have it before Christmas.
4) I completed a RMA on the site and some nights later I obtained an email stating these were shipping out a brand new battery and charger. Therefore, their RMA indicates nothing for them. They simply thought it had been the battery or charger (despite the fact that I told them the battery was comfortable when getting). I thought we are able to atleast check it out...
5) 1 week handed with no battery or charger within the email. I named plus they stated it had been "along the way to be delivered". Another week moves and that I named. They stated "Well, it's originating from runs therefore it might take some time". I told them that I'd be arguing the cost on my charge card plus they HUNG-UP ON ME!
6) I questioned the cost on my charge card and certainly will need to delay as much as 8 weeks before it's solved.

1) DON'T conduct business with HobbyTron.
2) Visit the local Interest shop and spend the additional cash and obtain a great handheld remote control vehicle. I did so this and settled $185 for an incredibly tough vehicle (Traxxas Stampede) and also the Interest shop may repair the vehicle if it actually fails for $30 each hour. That guarantee alone was worthwhile in my experience. The interest shop folks understand what hurts and exactly what does not. HobbyTron nearly ruined my boyis Holiday, however the nearby interest shop created him content...
HobbyTron is just a rip off organization!!!
