I did no renew my subsciption but have been charged for it

I very unwisely joined last year but after an unhappy year with you I did not want to carry on, so why have you debited my account with USD 29.97 plus another charge equaling UKL £19.02 plus £6.33? I demand a refund.
This is ilegal I did not renew the yearly subscription.
Hoe dare you go ahead without my knowledge & debit these 2 amounts I have informed my bank & demand you return my money
