My son saw a check IQ pop-up so he clicked on it and one of the questions asked for his cell phone so he answered it. He was then signed up for the "premium" package to get one alert a month about some erouneous fact. Upon finding out I texted the word STOP to short code 40544 to stop the text messages. I again got charged the next month even after texting stop. When I searched the internet and got the phone number for this short code I called and was told by a "Shannon" that his number would be taken off the list. "Shannon" also informed me she is the only one there when I asked for an extension number. They will not refund any of the monthly charged even though I did text stop before I was charged again. These texting companies are crooks if there is anybody that can file a lawsuit against them please help.
