Security Tool hijacked my computer did a scan and said I have all of these viruses and worms. It gave me the option of continuing without activating the software but ignored my request. So I was stuck having to pay for this software in order to complete my work for the day on my computer. I called the company and told them how upset I was and they said that they would refund my money and remove the software from my computer (how, I am not sure, pobabably in the same malicious way they put it there in the first place). I no longer had the program on my computer for almost a week then it suddenly appeared again but now with different results, my computer is crashing and now I have page faults. I contacted the company and was given a web address to remove the program but alas the web address doesn't exist. I tried to get in touch with the manager but he is never around. So, I am then told to wait a further 11 hours for the manager to return. So I have yet another day of missed work due to this fraud. I never asked for this program. I didn't download anything or click on any free computer scan buttons. This program got through my virus program (norton) and firewall and hijacked my computer. I am very very upset.in total 3 days of work have been lost to me. This is $240.00 not to mention the time I am spending trying to fix the situation. I don't want anyone else to fall victim to such a scam.
