I ordered NetDetective on-line, it ran one time immediately following my payment transaction & never ran again. It didn't do anything fantastic that I could not have done through any other people search engine or on-line white pages.
I sent e-mail to their customer service; there was no answer. I ordered program thru CheckOut.com. After contacting them by phone, their customer service sent e-mail to NetDetective informing them that I had a problem. They never replied.
Luckily, I copied each e-mail and made record of each telephone call. I submitted these to my credit card company and disputed the charge due to the fact that I never received the program I had paid for. It took about 2 weeks, but my credit card was credited for the $29 charge of the NetDetective program.
NetDetective has a tremendous amount of complains on usacomplaints.com. I wish I would have checked here before I ordered, but definately will check out any other unknown internet companies before ordering on-line in the future.
If you ordered by credit card, dispute the charges along with any evidence of contact so that you might receive credit for the NetDetective rip-off scheme.
