Fraudulent billing for services never received victimized many consumers

First heard of this company when my landlord received a bill for $400.00 for internet services at this address. She was concerned since she lives in another state and called to ask me if I had ever used or heard of this company. Which I replied I had not.

This was for services during a period of time when my family and I were on vacation. I called them and they refused to tell me anything about the company or what the charges were for and said it was billed to the person who the phone was connected to which was not the case since the phone is in my name and my landlord lives out of the state and does not even have a phone in this state.

It has now been turned over to a collection agency.

I have filed a complaint with the FTC.
