Thiscompany is HORRIBLE to do business with. Their advertising is deceptiveand their tech support is non existent. They were advertising aWestern Digital drive that I was looking for, to do some data recovery. I was first sent the wrong drive { a totally different model than I hadordered } and after explaining to Reena Merrit the fact that I neededan exact drive due to my data recovery needs, I had to send it back. Another week later I receive the correct drive but... Its used andDEAD... Out of box failure. I again call and speak with Reena, whotells me first that The tech assigned to my case will have to call meback. I never get a call back. I call them and am again told that thetech is "in the field" and will call me back... No call back. I callagain, no Reena this time but a woman with a different name... Soundslike Reena though... And after a similar conversation, am promisedanother call back... Of course... No call. I call back again and askagain for the status of my case. The woman is annoyed and discourteous, and of course no answer, no calls back. I call back again and ask tospeak with Bruce... A name I found from this site. I am told that he isnot available but if I give them till Monday {this call was on Friday}he will call me back. Of course no call on Monday, and when I call themback on Monday to find just what the F@! * is going on, I am told bysome obnoxious man on the phone, who won't let you get a word inedgewise, that all phone conversations are recorded, I must havebroken the drive, and to take whatever legal action I would like, andproceeds to hang up on me. I have a situation and a problem with a drivethat I placed an order for on 11/06. This problem is with aWestern digital hard drive model WD4000KS-00MNB0, Invoice # 4702. Thisdrive is an out of box failure, with the usual WD read write Click ofDeath symptoms. This drive was going to be used to recover data from asimilar drive with a similar problem. I explained this to Rena when Iwas original sent an equivalent but not identical 400g SATA drive oneweek ago. I need a totally working and preferably new drive {that iswhat I paid for} so that I may recover data from an identical drive tothis one. Until I have a complete drive to use as a donor, I am dead inthe water on my repair. I may have to change the entire stack from mydrive into a new donor drive, hence the need for a TOTALLY workingdrive. I have been promised a return call for days from the techassigned to my case to resolve this issue, and to date I have notreceived any calls at all.in desperation I started searching the netlast night for information about E-tech at Silicon Valley and found tomy amazement that this type of thing has happened to many other peoplewho ordered from your establishment. It also seems that YOU are thego-to guy in situations such as this. I feel that I have beenextremely patient with this entire matter, but my patience has reachedan end. I need this matter resolved TODAY!!! Please call me back ifthere is anything that can to rectify this problem, as I need torecover this data ASAP. Thanks

I have since filed with the BBB and will see what they can do about these thieves.
Bottomline... These people SUCK to do business with. And I would LOVE to hearfrom Bruce, as he apparently reads these reviews and is in charge ofdamage control at e-tech.
