I bought my husband's wedding band from titanium-jewelry.com in April. The ring was a Tungsten Carbine, which is "indestructible" and I paid almost $1,000 for it. Our wedding was at 5:00 P.M. On October 24. The following Wednesday morning, my husband and I were in Hawaii on our honeymoon and the ring fell off my husband's hand, hit the porcelain tub and broke into 4 pieces! I immediately called the company and told of our issue and they said "Send it back." We were in Hawaii, would be there for another week and a half, and shipping was very expensive. I also emailed the company two different times asking for procedures to mail the ring back and received no response. When we finally arrived back on the "mainland" I paid $13 to ship the ring back and paid for an electronic signature when the package arrived, which would have been on a Saturday. The following Tuesday, I had not heard from the company, so I called and they told me they had not received it but I had already checked with the post office where it was signed for on Saturday!!! When questioned about it the manager said the company is not open on Saturdays, even though their web-site says they are.
