I have been a memeber of getafreelancer for over 12 months now and have never had any issues until my nightmare began last week!
I made a deposit of $US500 US into my GAF acocunt using moneybookers.com. When I tried logging into my acoucnt on Monday, I was told my acocunt has been suspended due to a security breach and to lodge a ticket for online support. Of-0course I got onto this straight away. It took GAF 24 hours to advise me that I need to ocntact moneybookers as the payment hasn't come through to them.
I contacted Moneybookers who sent me an emailing advsing they have made payment and connfirmed that there as no reason for my acocunt to have been suspended. This was on Tuesdya. It is now Thursday and 72 hours later, I have still not heard a SINGLE word from GAF support. I have lodged a number of tickets requesting they contact me asap. I need access to my funds to pay for work completed by freelancers.
I am struggling to understand how this company does not have a phone number or address available. It is beyond me how they are allowed to operate such a shady business.
I plan on taking legal action asap - for principal more than anything else! How frustrating. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! THEY ARE DODGY AND UNPROFFESSIONAL!
