To Whom It May Concern:
It appears that there is a local man there in Portland that is actively defrauding people like myself and others from all over the nation.
In my instance, the fraud involved a SCSI scanner card. The wholesale value of the card was only $100. The retail value of the card is more than $2,000. I have had two opportunities to sell that card to other legitimate firms since Mr. Wagner stole the card from me. One of those deals would have been a retail sale. The other would have been a wholesale deal.
Eric Wagner contact me via email and phone. He advised that his firm dealt in scanner equipment and that he had a customer needing a particular card that I had for sale. Mr. Wagner asked that I ship the card to him immediately via UPS. He provided an account number by which to accomplish this. He advised that a check would be sent to me immediately via UPS to cover the purchase.
More than three weeks have passed. Wagner is not accepting phone calls from me. Wagner is not responding to emails or other efforts to contact him.
Simply put... Eric Wagner committed fraud. He stole a Kofax 1700s card from me.
I am prepared to testify against the man. I want the guy prosecuted. I have no problem in flying to Portland to give testimony against him.
