I'm the owner of this music website, and I offered my users custom e-mail addresses with my
domain name ex: [email protected]
Well, apparently some scam company created an e-mail from me and placed the e-mail at the end
or their e-mails or/and also were sending e-mails from it.
Go Daddy contacted me after several complaints they received from "reliable" sources about SPAMMING
I took action to the issue by deleting the e-mail, I even stopped offering the custom emails and I thought the issue was taken care of.
I was wrong, they kept sending me e-mails stating how I didn't do what I asked for.
EVERY option I was given since then included me payment some "fee".
I feel this is completely ridiculous because I had no control over what the user did and now I'm paying the consequences.
I must either pay US$199 to joing Godaddy and afiliate with them to fight the "issue" (which i dont really see)
Or
I must pay US$75 for administrative fees and have my domain name transfer within 24 hours
-this fee is sort of a "let go fee", you have to pay them for them to let you go and "Clean" the issue.
And this doesn't include me paying and the other domain company for any transfer fee.
Those were all the options given... Nothing else!
I feel I just got completely ripped off for something I have no control over.
