I have had two people contact me about this problem recently. It seems that the above website is for selling beautiful teacup persian cats for cheap but the pictures are actually stolen from another businesses website. I checked and yes, the pictures do seem to be from another breeders website. These people have no cats to sell. They get you to send them money through an escrow service or cargo carrier service and then don't send you a cat. Buyer beware!!! Never pay for anything using a cargo carrier service or escrow service. Real breeders will accept checks, credit cards, or money orders and even paypal and won't demand you pay in full right away. It is a shame that these people are praying on innocent folks just trying to get that special pet. They make it so much harder for legitimate people to do real business through the internet.
The name on the email is Darren Holmes and the person he directs you to talk to is Craig Paulson who is deaf and uses a TDD service to talk to you on the phone where he types in his part of the conversation and the operator reads you what he says. The operator even told one of the girls that this was a scam but she proceeded anyway. Luckily she stopped the western union money transfer before it was too late. The Cargo carrier company they tell you to send the money too hung up on her when she asked if they even had the cat.
Please beware of anyone that demands payment right away, wants a money transfer and wants you to send things through a cargo carrier service or escrow service. It is a big scam and you won't get your money back. If anyone else has had problems with these people, please contact the authorities and report it so they might be stopped.
