While using my browser, I got a pop up that appeared to me to be associated with Microsoft. It said a virus was detected, blah blah blah, and since my internet speeds had been unusually slow, I fell for it. I purchased a years worth for 49.95, but immeadiatly had reservations about it. The website does not exist (in fact, it opened a Google page that led me here). The phone number is a scam as well. When called, it goes to voicemail that gives a different number than the one called, and says the mailbox is full. I'm disputing the charge with my credit card company but it may be too late. Do yourself a favor and if you need an antivirus prograram, don't be stupid as I was.
