Ripoff, fraudulent billing on my credit card GR

I saw various charges that appeared on my credit card statements recently. I tried to cancel them by contacting my credit card company, but they said that they cannot do anything, and that I have to talk to the person/company that is billing me and ask them to stop it. What a ridiculous system!
