Www.selectyourgifts.com is a rip-off!!! This internet based company has contracts or deals with car dealerships and magazine companys. The car dealerships promise $1,000 shopping spree to test drive a car. The magazine companys also promise $1,000 shopping spree for subscribing to there magazines. And when you recieve this "certificate" in the mail and you go on there website then you realize " I JUST GOT RIPPED OFF"!
The items arent worth the shipping and handling they charge. And shouldnt shipping and handling be soley based upon the weight of the item. Thats my understanding
but www.selectyourgifts.com charges $24.95 to ship a geneva watch set plus a $5.00 per order processing fee. And then the shipping and handling on a heavier item like a bogus tool set is $12.95. So they claim that theres no charge for the item but the more expensive the item is suppossed to be the more the shipping and handling is.
Let me make this perfectly clear I have beef with "southern magazine promotions" who promised the shopping spree to me. But, www.selectyourgifts.com is the rip-off. With the magazine company you are paying for magazines and you recieve them. The bogus shopping spree is just to lure the customer in. So even though the magazine company offered me the shopping spree. The real rip-off is www.selectyourgifts.com. A shopping spree is suppossed to be free. If I want 10 items on www.selectyourgifts.com I could end up paying anywhere between $50.00-$250.00 and thats NOT a shopping spree my friends, thats a RIP-OFF and I'd like to thank usacomplaints.com for letting me vent my frustrations.
And last but not least the www.selectyourgifts.com website has no "contact us" link so you cant send them an E-mail complaint, and lets be honest, they dont offer a way for the consumer to contact them because they know they would recieve boat loads upon boat loads of complaints. But they do offer an automated voicemail - a computer to vent your frustrations to them. No real human being - a computer the # is (561)-881-0855
