I needed to purchase a application to recover a partition on a laptop and found TweakPC on-line after doing some searching. The price and description seemed fair, and their 100% money back guarantee gave a sense of security. What a joke on all counts.
I initially sent an email asking about the features that the partition software could handle, no reply.
I sent a follow-up email stating that clicking on the partition option brought up a window to burn an iso file - one that is not included with the software! No reply.
I contacted PayPal and disputed the charges, and then sent a third email requesting my money back. Finally a reply. I responded by listing the issues I had with the software, the lack of support, incomplete software (click on help and you get a place holder with statements like 'this is a demo document'), etc. Support responded the next day (apparently the company is located in Europe, all corrospondance is in the middle of the night from the US) with a link to download the ISO file - funny thing the link doesn't work.
I told them the link didn't work, and after five days of going back and forth I just want my money back. Their response 'Our product can work fine'. I'm not sure whose PC it works fine on, but it certainly didnt work on mine.
I'm still fighting trying to get my money back. FYI - I have been supporting computers for over 15 years, so this isn't my first dance. I ended up downloading a product from Acronis and when I had an issue I got REAL TIME LIVE CHAT with someone that could actually help me. Issue was resolved in 30 minutes.
Stay Away from TWEAKPC and Software Made Easy.
