Sean Roach, CEO of Rip Two It Inc is a master seller, very good in running a misleading presentation and running a show.
We apparently purchased a license to the product that contains software that creates adsence sites and paid $9,888 for it. That was not how the whole sales pitch during World Internet Summit promoted the product. Regardless of their misleading presentation, even what was written in the agreement is not matching what we received.
It was promoted as a Tycoon License that contains already pre built sites with limited edition available only to members and certain number of sites will be built for us. Every month we get 16 pre built sites and 2 sites of our choice (total 20? According to their math and agreement that we signed) If we wish we can also make some sites by ourselves using site builder. Each site is like a small income stream. The more you have them, more income streams in.
For getting of our duff, said Sean Roach (meaning buying the package right now) they will give us an extra 50 prebuilt sites, limited edition, available only to members, each SEO optimized with highly paying adsense words, well chosen keywords (we wish it was true)... According even to YouTube video, Robert Puddy, one of Rip Two It Inc people promotes that sites will be ranked among first 10 on Google. That is far from the truth.
Without going into quality of their sites, those limited edition sites for members only are on sale on ebay for peanuts. We contacted the seller and got 30 sites for $35.
Sean Roach also promised 50 products for those sites. There was less then 50 to choose from, and those available were not all matching the products.
At the time we purchased our Tycoon license, there was another license for sale for $2000. The main difference is in the number of pre built sites that we get per month and those 50 bonus sites. There are some other differences but they are minor portion of the price, comparing to the difference in the price. A huge difference was obviously attributed to pre built sites that are supposed to be limited edition for members only and are instead for sale on internet for peanuts.
On their agreement they wrote that all those sites are not part of the purchase, but a free bonus. There was no way to get pre built sites without paying that huge price. The whole value of the Tycoon license was built during presentation with number of prebuilt sites that will be self producing income streams.
Agreement that had to be signed in a rush, which was skillfully created, has lots of small printing including that "signed document supersedes all prior statements, agreements and understanding". It is obvious that agreement is designed to protect misleading presentation.
It is interesting that they promoted Tycoon license that we purchased as being available for very limiting time and soon they will stop selling them all together. Well, they are still for sale on all their events around the world.
We never received a training that is part of the agreement. Agreement is saying that we purchased a software license. So we bought something for what training was not received yet (purchase happened 2 months ago). Their first training will be given after 4 months and our membership that is part of that $9888 is valid only 6 months. After that, they will charge 197 per month as a special price. Trainings available on the site are far from enough.
Quick Start Coaching Calls in small groups twice per month for the first 90 days never happened and are part of the agreement.
Lifetime Gold membership to their web3.0 platform that is part of the agreement, does not even exist on their web site.
Their technical support is not timely. We put only one prebuilt site by the time we discovered all issues with them and decided to ask for refund.
The quality of the sites is debatable and is not matching what has been promoted. Pre built sites are definitely hugely devalued by being available in numbers for almost nothing instead being available to members only in limited edition.
We sent urgent alert after 5 days from purchase about eBay to Rip2It. The same seller is still selling sites on eBay. After 22 days from the purchase we requested the refund and seller is refusing it with words that we used their product and that is it, they are keeping $9.888 They are insisting on 3 days return cancellation that we signed. 3 days cancellation notice is required by law to protect customers that are impulse purchasers. We are not in that category.
We are not happy with the whole deal, getting product that is not usable (no live trainings yet), misleading promotion that puts the emphasize on pre built sites and then they are totally devalued and are available on truckloads on internet for almost nothing, poor quality of their product and services...
The fact that they are hiding behind Nevada Law can indicate purity of Rip2it intention.
The Notice of Cancelation of 3 days without any further recourse talks for itself and how much they trust their product and their service.
Unusual clause that members are not allowed contacting each other raises more questions about intentions behind it.
It is obvious that they use their internet skills to further mislead impression about quality of their product. Number of places where they promote their product (like YouTube) have comment section disabled.interestingly, at some places there are positive comments and when we tried to enter negative comment, the message says, comments disabled.
At this point of time, we want our US$9888 back. That much we paid and did not get what was promoted and what was promised in the paperwork.
