Internet Antivirus, Powerkey Fully Secure & Encrypted Ordering - Will not let me on web w/out popping up every time. Trying to sell their product Nothing Provided

I just installed Microsoft XP to my mac, for school assignment reasons. So while I am switched to Windows and have to drop my online homework, I am bombarded with anti-spyware and being told that my computer is endangered.

I understand the need for security protection, but every page I load, their add pops up and and they are a company that is selling a product. I even have a pop-up blocker on, and feel that this is harrassment. It is unacceptable to me.

I should not have to resort to buying their product to get online. I don't know how to make it stop, and I feel that have me caught in a bind here.

I am very angry and, while they are not taking my money, they are expecting me to give in and purchase their product.
