A friend of ours was contacted by Island Yellow Pages. Yep, in the Caribbean. Had to pay invoices never seen before immediately for advertising never contracted to avoid court action, etc. Completely bogus, threatening, unethical stuff that I'm afraid can be convincing. We will try let as many businesses as we have seen on the Island yellow pages site on our little isle know, contact the local media, and get our friend to file a complaint with the police in both Tampa as well as St. Johns Virgin Islands. PLease do the same if you are unfortunate enough to be contacted by them. Get the word out.
