ONLINEOrder.com, Celebrity Sexy Teeth - Whitener SCAM - Suspected credit card FRAUD

One week ago: Information sent to AOL: This turned into attempted card fraud... Please read the entire post for your own protection.

Are you aware that you have a sponsored link on your AOL website that is most likely a SCAM? Customers are posting "beware" messages on the internet (Product Review and Consumer Awareness sites) about a company advertising "Celebrity Sexy Teeth" (Teeth Whitening Product). The site is: http://www.celebritysexyteeth.com/default.php and the company is IONLINEOrder.com.

Apparently, customers attempting to return the "guaranteed" product are not finding the required return form for which a link is posted and if they do return the product to the return address on one of the the webites, customers still are not receiving credit for the returned merchandise and there is no customer service number to call.

Also, according to consumer complaints: (http://usacomplaints.com/reports/0/349/RipOff0349148.htm), the company is double billing customers without authorization for at least $100.00.

Furthermore, the company is not listing any contact information other than a return address (no phone, no company address, no email anywhere to be found).

According to a marketing tracking site (http://www.quantcast.com/ionlinecart.com), it appears that the company's "progress" has been tracked since March and nothing prior (this causes me to suspect that IONLINEOrder.com is a recent startup).

Moreover, the company is engaging in false advertising (one dentist was appalled by the blatant false claims) and supposedly the product had been featured on "Oprah" among other celebrity TV shows, though I have my doubts.

Rather, it sounds like pure and simple FRAUD and AOL should not be posting this as a "SPONSORED LINK." Your customers (myself included) assume that a sponsored link is verified by AOL as legitimate if you post it on our AOL login site. I Just wanted to make you aware that your reputation is at stake.

Consumers: do not order from this company! Credit card fraud!

The latest 7/24/08 (today): After ordering from IONLINEOrder.com last week, I found (immediately afterward and to my dismay) many negative consumer reports about the company/product and suspected that something was very fishy and began doing a bit of research that prompted the previous information to be sent to AOL's advertising department. AND I immediately called the credit card company to cancel the transaction. Customer service was unable to do so until the pending transaction was posted. It is still pending.

Meanwhile, my husband has just informed me that our CREDIT CARD COMPANY HAS POSTED A FRAUD ALERT TO OUR (he noticed it while attempting to access our account online it is blocked). The credit card company also sent an email asking him to call the customer service number on the back of our card ASAP. We have found that someone has attempted to use our credit card number five times in the past couple of days at the same merchant in another state. This triggered a fraud alert and as of now our credit cards are being cancelled. Thank God.

I informed the credit card company of my suspicions regarding IONLINEOrder.com and luckily they had my previous concerns/comments in their computer system to back me up. Suddenly, for the first time ever, our credit card is at risk. I am fingering IONLINEIrder.com as the culprit - this past week's scenario and my fears about this company are too close in timing to be coincidence.

P.S. I did receive the pinky finger-sized tooth whitening tube in the mail this week (with NO return address or contact info of ANY KIND on the invoice) and will duly return it. Otherwise, we are disputing the charges and our credit card company has been warned to be on the lookout for this scamming company (the bank also has no contact info for the IONLINEOrder.com).

Sincerely
