I have several bad marks on my credit report that just refuse to come off even though I have paid these creditors in full. I had hard times and fell behind, but now everything is paid off. I therefore was looking for a way to boost my credit score and also get some legal help to clear up past negative marks. I contacted Taylor Street Credit and spoke first with Justin and then Brian King (Customer Service Director). They sounded very genuine and I told them I could only pay them in two payments. They sent me a legal form that stated they would accomplish the task. They had me notarize it and fax it back to them. After I made my second payment for a total of $1500 I was told that it would take from 60 to 90 days for a positive account to be opened to boost my credit score while their attorney gave me advice on how to remove the bad credit marks. I never go any information from the attorney and I also never got my credit boosted. I kept calling and speaking to them and they assured me that everything would be fine. Since that time (April of last year) I have been sending email after email and calling and calling. Each time it is another story. Now when I call I only get a recording and I think they have probably flown the coop and moved on. However, their website is still alive and their phones are still working. These people are horrible. They prey on people that are down on their luck and with poor credit just trying to fix it any way they can. I could ill afford the $1500 I gave Taylor Street, but I was desperate to clean my credit up. I hope the law tracks these folks down and makes examples of them. If the law needs my help I will comply with any requests to ensure these people are prosecuted.
