Johnny Z - Read your Rip Off report and I wish it had been posted 2 weeks before as we sent $2500.00 to Randy Nelson on November 1. Our scenario played out exactly like yours. I had several conversations with this fellow, researched Digital Wave Marketing and Momentum Marketing and felt pretty secure about this investment.
Once they got our money we literally never heard from them again save for a cursory email from the infamous "Digital Dave" who was going to set up a website with a domain name that was owned by another company.
We are so sick about this. After dozens of unanswered phone calls and emails, I've requested a refund of our monies due to non-performance.
We were promised: 1) A call from the marketing group as soon as the funds were received 2) Traffic and accounting reports on how our monies and the matched funding from Digital Wave Media were being spent 3) An active website and domain name 4) On going updates on how the marketing for this turn-key partnering was going in compliance with FCC rules (of which Mr. Nelson claimed expertise).
I discussed with Mr. Nelson how I was only interested in ventures that had "minimal risks". This loss is devistating for me and my husband.
In the past I had a modicum of success with an MLM but truthfully, after this experience, I'm convinced that unless you are starting your own company you really can't trust any online business opportunity. I hope that this company is stopped.
