I purchased a simple php script from PopScripts.com on October 31st. I installed the script and got it to work but am not able to log into the admin panel, hence making the script unusable for me.
I contacted PopScript.com 6 times between November 1st and November 2nd for tech support. I wanted to contact them as soon as possible as I did not want to get stuck with software that would not work. Their responses were vague to say the least, and was for me to spend more money with them to install the script. The script had been installed, but I was not able to log into the admin panel. I answered all of their questions for me regarding the install and one of their last responses was a curt reply saying "how were they supposed to know". Well, if you created this program, then it is your job to know the in's and out's of it. When you are selling a service, you are supposed to offer some kind of support for it.
I develop and sell websites for a living and I make sure everything is working properly before handing it over to the new owner. It's kind of like selling a new car without the engine.
I may or may not be able to get the script to work, but I now believe PopScript.com wants to upsell the Install by offering zero support on their software. It was my fault fo not looking into them futher. PopScript.com has a bunch of video tutorials on youtube.com, but they disabled their comments. Hmm, I wonder why. I wish I would have noticed this before spending money with these cons.
Buyer beware with PopScript.com. The product may work or it may not. If it doesn't work, then the Buyer is out of luck. Wow.
