K2 Network
Ruined Mu Online, ruined my life California

It all started when my brother showed me the excellent MMORPG developed by WebZen. I played the game for a very long time. I played with my friends, i leveled up with them, got new items, helped them and they helped me, and we had a lot of fun together. We always took screen shots of hackers using speed hack or "1 hit - 1 kill" hack, outside and inside of town. Then we reported them to WebZen, and they banned them after making sure they are hacking. We also liked to look at the bottom of the screen, not only to see the tips, but to see messages appearing in red like "Exmeo93" was banned from server Wigle for speed hacking".

Me, my brother, and my friends, always got so excited when we had a new item, like a jewel, or a pet. This game lead me to my path, my way of living - it made me like computers and want to have computer programming as my job when i grow up.

I played Mu Online everyday after school. After finishing my homework everyday, the next hours were dedicated for training in Mu. Everyone who knew me, knew then, that Mu was my life. I showed my father the game, he always coaxed me to train more and that I was very good at the game and that i can beat up everyone. I liked it so much.

During those 3 years of playing Mu Online, I got hacked 3 times, each time on another account. When my first account got hacked i cried for so long, and everyone looked at me with pity. My parents didn't say it was just a game, they acted as if it was a real problem.

I tried everything to get my account back. I tried the "forgot password" feature, i tried sending a message to WebZen, but i didn't remember my question and answer for the "forgot password" option, and WebZen didn't answer me, i worked so long trying to get it back. At the end i decided - i can't stop, i will re-register.

When i re-registered i leveled fast, I already knew Lorencia by heart, i leveled a lot. Until someone said he was selling speed hack, and i added him to my friends' list and he gave me a website. I put my username and password there, like and idiot, and got hacked, and lost a bronze helm 6 12 (WHICH AT THAT TIME WAS EXTREMELY RARE!!!). After that i got so sad and re-registered.

My 3rd account was a success. However, it was too late.By the time i reached level 110, K2 Network had already taken over Mu. It started as a nice thing, there was the name of each town beautifully appearing on the screen each time you entered that town, there was the Soldier elf, increasing your power (buffing you with buff and aura), there were a few nice new features.

But people like K2 Network are just surprising at the start. Soon enough i understood exactly who I were dealing with. So many people started using bots. The community stopped growing. No more newbies came to the game. People started saying that Mu Online was P2P (pay to play) from above level 60. I figured out it was not right. BUT - only 3 servers were left free - 1,2 and 3. The rest were just for people who pay real cash. It was sad, but kinda ok with me...

Until... I figured out that you get MORE EXPERIENCE AND ITEM DROPS IF YOU PAY?!!?!? WTF?! Mu Online was COMPLETELY free before!!! And suddenly Wigle and Maya became Helheim and Midgard?!!? And suddenly VALHALLA appeared?! Valhalla was full of p2p servers! Costumer Support didn't work anymore! I got scammed 4 times! Scammers,

Hackers, botters, bug exploiters, and everything came inside Mu Online! When Mu was under WebZen's control, there were speed hackers, but they could be reported, and they were always banned. But when K2 Network came, nothing worked. Suddenly, i found myself walking in the town next to soul masters, muse elves, BKs, and MGs. The whole game has become a BR, PL, and TK meeting place. No more Americans or Israelis to play with and be friends. Chinese hackers killing people inside of town, no more jewels dropping for me (probably it was just for P2P then), nothing was good anymore.

I was an Mu Online fan, i couldn't stop playing. I trained more and more, and there were so many exp days, until the game started to look like a private server. This was not a joke anymore. I went on Wikipedia.org, and i found so much criticism about K2 Network. On Mu Online's section, on Knight Online's section, on Warrock, everywhere. But... It was deleted?!?! Why?! Did K2 Network force wikipedia to delete it??? There were so many true facts about K2 Network there, like that Knight Online is full of turkish players, bugs and hackers, all kinds of glitches, and that there was a bug that made everyone go back to lvl 30.

Don't ever make business with K2 Network. They keep the pictures of "Free 2 Play", and "Gamers first" on their websites, but they SUCK! Their games have more P2P options then F2P, especially Warrock! Is it really free to play?! I looked at Warrock's website, and on the right side it said "Free 2 Play!", but when scrolling down, it says "Upgrade your experience! BUY PREMIUM!" i played Warrock until most of the weapons were costing money, and until making a room with some certain places required real cash using.

I am not sure of so much P2P is gamers first. However, I am sure that Guildwars, and Soul of The Ultimate Nation, and Hero Online, ARE gamers' first.

This is a message to you, K2 Network. Even your biggest masterpiece, Granado Espada (and you changed the name to Sword of The New World), was not developed by you, but only PUBLISHED by you. Red Stone is your new game i see, looks just like a combination of Diablo II, Mu Online and Conquer Online, but with worse graphic, and worse gameplay, and of course, more P2P options.

I am sure i forgot lots of more things i wanted to say, since i was keeping them for a long time, but i'll update as i find out what else i wanted to say.
