I ordered a memory stick form EMSCOMPUTING. A week or so later, I received an email message stating that they are unable to ship my order in a timely manner and as a result, they were cancelling my order.
They stated that "In the unlikely event your credit card was charged, a full refund will be posted to your account within 3-5 business days." They charged my credit card on July 30. I received the notice that they would not be able to fulfill my order on August 4, a Sunday.
Given the 3-5 work days, I should have had the money credited back to me by Friday, August 9. I have sent two or three emails, asking the status of my money, and as of today, August 26, I have neither gotten a reply to any of my email inquiries, nor have I had the refund posted to my credit card.
I'm usually not one to slam a business like this, but these e-commerce, fly-by-night companys who flagrently defraud the unsuspecting public, need to be held accountable for their actions.
