I purchased a quantex computer 2 years ago, with great consumer ratings, promises of great tech support, 1 year on site service, etc. Gret promotions of this obviously, sell it and forget it, type of company, truth beknown. We had problems with ours, we thought due to electrical storm. I called them for a catalogue, letter of replacement value, etc for my insurance company. They said i should also submit a letter from my manufacturer, quantex, assuring my insurance this was and/or could be caused by the storm. Customer service told me i would have to receive that from tech support. For nine evenings, 7P.M.- 11 P.M., my wife and i sat in our living room trying to get through to tech support, quantex. That never happened, we never received letter from sales department of replacement value, and, we never received a catalogue. Thank god, we did not get the catalogue and order another piece of unsupported, unserviced crap from this company. Consumers beware should apply to quantex for certain. I have had no luck whatsoever finding name, address, e-mail address, or anything to gain me the attention of the ceo of quantex. And you will be the first if you can reach tech support by phone of this company.
