My husband and I are getting up in our age and my husbands health is failing. We have a small painting company but my husband is finding it harder to keep up. We needed to find a different source of income to help out with our income. We researched several weeks on the internet to contribute with our income and my husband would be able to handle. We looked at Francises and that was out of the picture because we only had about $10,000. This was a big decission because we only had limited funds. We called several off the internet but a lady called terese was the most persistant. She told me how much money we could get from going with the 3 tier candy machines and also the wishing wells. She really pushed the wishing wells (now i know why because you cannot get a sponser for the them). She told me they do it all and at one time I even thought they set them up at the business. She told me they do everthing else and i choose my charity for our units and they supply us with all the secured locations and the managers/owners name to contact when we arrive to see, apond our arrival.
We went out and bought all our candy and gum for the machines (appox $500) to fill half of them. The other 5 were on back order and 5 more were on their way to us. We left with our lacation list in hand and 10 candy machines. Not one of the locations would take our machines and never spoke to anyone from vending friends either. The contact names were not even close. I spent several times a day trying to go to every business that I could find in my area and surrounding towns and practialy begging them to let me leave them there. I got a charity to sponser me for $20 a month (i had alreadysigned a contract for a year commitment) and $32 to sign up... I cannot even make the $20 ammount to send them. I have only 10 out, in slow moving Business and 9 in storage, one unit never did come back to us for a replacement that was broken. I have 25 wishing wells still in the boxes, in storage.
I have notified Better Bus and Attorney general as well but they are not having any luck with vending friends either. I cannot afford to hire a attoney or we would in a heart beat... We want to stop these crooks because they take someone like us for everything they have as their lifes savings... Please help us if you can. Thank you so much
