In March I ordered a Toshiba Laptop from their website. About 2 weeks later I called to ask why I had no confirmation of shipping or contact from them about a delay. I recorded the call (told them that I was) and called for an order status. The CSR sounded retarded and had no answer. I spoke to a supervisor and cancelled the order. OK just another dumbass that cost his company a sale, right? NOPE In May I got a call from Circuit City (?) and it seems that *someone* ordered a Toshiba Laptop and wanted it shipped to TEXAS. I live in NC. Of course I said "Hell no, t'wasn't I and it was cancelled." Meanwhile I checked with AMEX and found *someone* ordered expensive business software from "EnvisionSBS" using my card. I e-mailed them (it was on a weekend) and advised them to call their carrier and get the package back. WHY WRITE THIS NOW? Actually I ran across this site and saw someone posted that *THEIR WEBSITE IS NOT ENCRYPTED* which explains how some thieving bastard got my number, and a few hundred bucks worth of *FREE* software. So in addition to having *stoopud* people answering the phone, they blatantly expose your credit card information *OR SHARE IT OUT OF SPITE IF YOU CANCEL YOUR ORDER* Either way, do like I did... Go to a retail store and purchase your computer. I went to Best Buy and beat BestPriceCameras.com by a couple of hundred dollars. Bpkd
